Martin’s already looking for a place to take Susa to on Valentine’s Day. He was thinking of taking her to an eat-all-you-can place. But when asked if she eats a lot, Martin says she doesn’t.
It would be a waste to bring someone to an all-you-can-eat buffet if they’re not going to take full advantage of it. 300 good bucks would have gone to waste. But yeah, it’s not my money to spend so it’s not my business. I was just saying. Haha.
This specific conversation got me to remember one of the best eat-to-sawa places I have ever been to my entire life – Chinatown’s Best. Situated along Banawe in Quezon City, this place is just the best.

It’s kinda price-y, a little less than 500 pesos per head gives you access to the buffet area on the 2nd floor. I remember going their with my mom and aunt. My aunt treated us both there. I sat and ate while they were talking about older people, motherly stuff.
I remember going back lots of times to try the different viands on the buffet table. I remember taking extra trips back to get 2nd helpings of the food I liked. Getting short on drinks was no problem because even that was unlimited. There’s an open iced tea dispenser for those who prefer to go with cold tea, an open soda dispenser for those who’d like to drink soda, and a water dispenser for those who’d like to clear their palate.
Dessert. I never got to try much of the dessert. My eyes got fixated on the pichi-pichi on the table. Well, my mom got ice cream, my tita got halo-halo. My mom got me some leche flan. But I think there were still some other kinds of desserts in the table.
Since then, I’ve been waiting for the opportunity to eat there again. Maybe I will go there with Obi one of these days. Give him a taste of Chinatown’s Best. Haha.
